All instruments, new and used, rented or purchased, are checked and set up by our repair technician. Used instruments are then fully serviced, sanitized and cleaned. Both new and used instruments are discounted when purchased.
New instruments appeal to many, just as some prefer a new car to a previously owned vehicle. They are a little more costly, however, when well maintained, they require less repair for the first year.
Used instruments offer a tremendous value for many parents. Once an instrument has been rented, it is 'used'. Often you cannot tell it has been previously rented until you look closely at the case or instrument. As cosmetics are more noticeable, the price goes down and the value goes up. All previously owned instruments are kept in good playing condition and are serviced and cleaned prior to being offered for rent or sale.

You can pay off your instrument early at any point in your contract instead of making monthly payments.

Orchestra instruments are not a one size fits all like band instruments. They come in different sizes to accomodate students growth. Your student should be measured for the correct size before renting an instrument. Some teachers also size their students.
Because students grow at different rates, there is no way to know when when you will grow into the next size. Other indicators would be a change in height and/or arm length. A correctly sized instrument will insure that you are playing comfortably and in tune.
